Fence Location Survey
A Fence Location Survey
may be all you need
FENCE LOCATION SURVEYS
If a fence needs replacing we can do a survey to locate the existing fence. This can be used to to position the new fence.
Suitable when....
-
Agreement between neighbours.
-
Low value fence e.g chain wire, timber.
-
Not part of a major renovation project.
-
No retaining walls.
BOUNDARY OFFSET LINES
An offset line is parallel to the boundary or construction line. They are used to "control" or guide the construction. It allows us to place marks that will not get destroyed in the excavation of new building work or fencing.
Suitable when ......
-
Agreement between neighbours.
-
Low value fence e.g chain wire, timber.
-
Is part of a major renovation project.
-
Building retaining walls.
Please Note
These are not formal boundary surveys. If building on the boundary, you need to discuss your intentions with your neighbour. If they are not comfortable or unaware of your plans, they will be expecting a Boundary Identification Survey - that put pegs in the ground and is lodged with the State Government.
Sometimes we have no previous surveys to work from or we find significant boundary issues in your area. We may need to carry out a full survey to establish the boundary location. We would contact you about this before quoting.
