Building Set Out Surveys

Before commencing any building construction work it's usually necessary to carry out a building set out survey.

Set out surveys are used to assist the builder prior to or during construction, to accurately position the building in accordance with the proposed or approved design. 

The building setout and certification (Form 16) is required by the certifier at the completion of construction.

Best practice for building work in Brisbane is to carry out a site plan to determine the existing building location from boundaries - before design of any extensions.
